Placement Information

As its only one semester Teaching in Thailand is straight forward and start your overseas teaching journey. We will guide you through the whole process and support you until you get there.
This only lasts one semester which is 5 months. It’s simple and easy to start your overseas teaching journey with our help and expert knowledge from our team.

Earn A Decent Salary
Life in Thailand is very cheap and our teachers earn around £650-750 per month. It may not sound like much but you’ll still have plenty of time to explore Thailand on your weekend trips and enjoy the vibrant street food. Your working hours are from 7.30am –4.30pm in any of our partners schools; ranging from kindergarten to high school.

TEFL 120 hour
A 120-hour online TEFL will guide to through what you need to know. Giving your some top tips from our experts to secrets into classroom management. You’ll be super eager and confident as soon as your arrive at your destination.
Getting to Thailand
Most of JetsetGrad travelers travel solo. This gives everyone the opportunity to get to know everyone on whatsapp before you head off. Share any ideas or travel plans and really dive into real Thailand. Enjoy some Pad Thai and embark on this amazing journey
We have limited spaces therefore we advise to apply as soon as possible. We have two intakes per year
Major intake:
Application End of July or when spaces are filled.
Minor Intake: Start of May
Application deadline: End of January of when spaces are filled.
There is an option of one or two semesters for both lasting for 5 months each. If you fall in love with your experience whilst you’re there one your first semester you can always move to the second one whilst you’re out there.

Each placement is 1 semester ( 5 months) but an additional one can be added (totaling to 10 months) either before you leave or once you fall in love with the place. Most people will extend to two semesters.

Pay your first instalment to secure your place and we will help get your TEFL sorted. This is needed on whichever overseas path you decide to take. We want to make the process as easy and cost-effective as possible. After your initial deposit is paid, we have a realistic payment plan that allow you to manage your finances before going on an adventure of a lifetime.

We want to make the payments as manageable as possible. Your first payment guarantees your place and then rest will have to be paid when your placement is confirmed.

Additional Fees
They are few additional costs before you begin your overseas journey. Don’t worry we’ll guide you through it all.
As part of the process you need to legalise your degree which will cost around £179. We can help you through this too.
Additionally, for peace of mind we highly recommend travel insurance which is around £50 per month; however you may be able to shop to get something that better suit you.
Of course you have to get there and a flight from the UK to Thailand will cost around £500 one way.
You will need a small buffer of cash until you get paid which is approximately £1k.
We advise applicants to decide what vaccinations they feel they need, and their own appetite to risk, which will cost around £100 each but this can vary.
You might be required to do a medical test which is around £40; however this varies across different regions.
The visa from the UK costs around £60
For completing your contract you will be rewarded a visa reimbursement around 3000 Baht
